These are some of the most beautiful colored hyacinth I'd ever seen - they are not purple nor blue but a true cross between the two and wonderfully deep. I did not enhance the color at all on these - all I did was crop a little. That shine on their petals was also unusual because most hyacinths I've seen are a matte surface.

The color really IS deep, and and a very beautiful shade of bluish purple, or purplish blue, or blurple or purplue...or something else. LOL. Outstanding clarity, too, Kathy.

I was recently in the 'Keukenhof' Kathy and saw thousands of hyacinths, but I like to agree with you that no one could compete with this one with respect of its colors.

So you're saying these hyacinths are burple and/or plue in colour. A nice shine to the image and a good close up on the blooms, Kathy.
