Another cool weather loving plant - supposedly they will not bloom if the temperatures exceed 80F. I frequently see snapdragons in northern Michigan and northern Wisconsin - areas that mostly stay in the 70's during the summer.

Wonderful capture of this special Antirrhinum species Kathy.
They are either called snapdragons or dragon flowers in your country. We call them 'Leeuwebek' wich stands for 'Mouth of a Lion'.

Regards, Cornelius.

I would not dare to move my finger over keyboard before reading our expert's SEAS opinion as to the name and family of this beauty LOL
Now it is so easy - just to say: I would have said the same ! LOL
I only wonder whether they have anything to do with begonias...
Great detail, clarity here plus perfect lighting.
Thanks, Kathy.

For me it would not load all the way, but I appreciate the their delicate beauty, and your handling of the shot. After reading your narrative that would help to explain why I never see them around here. :) Tigs♥ =^..^=
