I don't know the name of this rose but it was such a beauty in the sun. I'm just getting caught up after returning from the out-of-town wedding and will pick up commenting with todays posts but I did go through and try to catch up with what everyone posted since last Wednesday. It looked like Fx2 was great last week.

A beautiful rose, but I don't know what type it is either. I won't make it to my out of town wedding this weekend. My emphysema is acting up too bad to make the trip. Happy you're back home safely girl and with another one of your beauties!!!

Kathy, to me it's the Rosa rubiginosa or one of its 'nieces' (see the synonyms list).
Anyhow a wonderful flower and captured very well.

Most charming presentation of Her Royal Majesty [somehow the name quoted by our SEAS made me think this way:)]

Very beautiful Kathy and the sunlight captured as well. That is a gift you have - I can see and almost feel the sunshine/

I could tell exactly what this is called, except I would be wrong. A good close up on this lovely bloom, Kathy. Beautiful colours and nice lighting in the scene.
