That's two stinging insect shots for me this season - I'm on a roll! I saw the wasp and focused in more on him/her but did want to get the roses as well. So two for the price of one!
Both beautiful shots, Kathy. Couldn't download the other one to full screen size. Must have been a very large file. Really liked the composition, though the initial image is never good enough quality compared to full screen.
Just went back and tried again. Was 14.1 Mgb and took about 13 minutes.My processor is Quad core high speed. I think the Caedes system isn't handling large files very well. I can open 18 Mgb files instantaneously.

Great unique image in so many ways, dear Kathy. First the foreground rose is definitely the leading lady here. The rose alone would make enough material and beauty [+scent] for one image. Then the bud with its details and the wonderful presentation of the background as the main subject. In short this is a perfect image done in breach of all rules and against all principles and so effectively. Love this charming work of art. SAM & SAAB
