This is ubiquitous at this time of year here in the Midwest - along roadsides and any open fields. Some stands get almost 6' tall.

Saw at least three unpaid visitors Kathy, lol.
A well known plant (Daucus carota) to most of us as well. Good capture again!

I don't think that is Queen Anne's Lace... it looks similar but not identical.

I have to agree with Bob/reddawg. The plant lacks the feathery leaves and umbrella-shaped flower structure. Perhaps white snakeroot? Not sure.

Anyway, you have more than done the flower justice with the gorgeous macro!!
