I saw this coneflower several weeks ago and was taken with the color combo and the name. When I downloaded my image of it I found I'd blown the shot so into the trash it went! Was back yesterday in the same garden and there was one still blooming! Grabbed the camera and took another shot of it. They are doing wonderful hybridizing with the coneflowers these days.

Absolutely stunning, Kathy! I planted a bunch of coneflowers late spring / early summer around my windmill, but my husband got the weedkiller out before they had a chance to fully bloom. He can't distinguish a flower from a weed. LOL. I'll enjoy yours on my desktop.
