I actually shot this in September but thought it better suited to October with it's pumpkin color. It's a type of celosia.

Brilliant capture and presentation, really brightens up the screen, such stunning colours and does look like feathers. I don't recall seeing them here, also like the green adding that bit of contrasting colour
