The weather is so foul here today I dipped into my greenhouse shots for some sunlight. Taken in the greenhouse at one of my haunts, these lovely lavender orchids were reaching for the sun. Our weather is rapidly descending into the deep freeze but we are not getting the foot of snow north of us and likely to hit poor Pat(skates).

I follow the U.S. weather situation from here in Italy. It looks like winter is just around the corner. Here it's been continuous rainy gray days. These flower do brighten things up, Kathy.

Music is what feelings sound like.
I have some indoor flowers, too, and I never have to water them. But I DO have to brush the dust off from time to time! lol. No deep freeze here yet...it's 61 right now, but the colder weather is coming later this week. Beautiful shot of the foofies, Kathy.

They are gorgeous! Such a beautiful color! You did super nice job on this one Kathy. I blew, raked and burned leaves for the last time, this morning. The cold is heading here too, and anymore leaf pickup will have to be done by a company here in town, I use.

The colour is brought out even more strongly by the presence of the white areas. A wonderful shot with a nice bokeh Kathy.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Lovely orchids & I sure love their purple coloring. Beautifully captured, Kathy. I was going through my flower photo's today also ... way too early for winter to arrive.
