This orchid was a very soft almost washed out yellow color but the middle was spectacularly colored. We are in for blizzard conditions and about a foot of snow tonight and tomorrow so I'm off this morning to see what's new in one of my favorite greenhouses and to pick up a few groceries in case we're snowbound for a couple of days.

That's exactly what most people do before a blizzard hits, rush off to their local greenhouse and grocery store!

Did you name this foofy Malcolm? (Corny joke, eh?) lol. It looks like there is a very colorful bird of some kind trying hard to hang on with the tips of his wings. (My over active bizarre imagination again.) Beautiful work as usual, Kathy.

Stunning orchid Kathy!!! The petals are a lovely color of beige, yellow and white, and the center is a spectacular array of colors - just beautiful. Nice capture - hope you get some good shots today.
