My Idea of a Blizzard Image

Well we are in the midst of a blizzard here in the Chicago area and the Midwest in general. We have about 6-7" down already and the winds should be picking up by this afternoon to 40-50 mph creating whiteout conditions and 3-5' drifts in open areas. Total accumulations are expected to be 14-18" before all is said and done tomorrow morning. So I went into my summer files for a nice image that looks warm - my idea of a proper blizzard image!

That is a very colorful blizzard image and looks a lot better than what you are getting there in the Midwest. A Blizzard from Dairy Queen would look good too. Excellent clarity, too, Kathy. Super photography.

We've had a lot of snow as well Kathy. The snow is extremely wet and heavy. I slid off in the ditch on the way to church this morning. Well, my pickup, not me!
Another great delivery from The Florist.

The best way to forget the weather outside Kathy. Bright colours and lighting in this image. Has a cosy look about it too.

You'll get through the storm just fine if you periodically stare at these colorful flowers, Kathy. Well done!

Kathy, we don't have such severe wintry conditions in my small country like yours in the USA, but the rain was pooring down almost all day. So your 'attempt' to give us a 'warm' image is very welcome to me as well. You were successful as you gave me the only sunshine today. Thanks for that my friend

Please take care! Sei Vorsicht!

Just great, Kathy, now I have to dig my pruning shears out to clean up this blizzard. Last time I saw them they were under 6 feet of snow. A beautiful image and capture of the foofies. Lovely colours, lighting and details in the photo.
