Well this is a picture of my winter cactus from last year. I'm trying to get it to re-bloom now. It spent the summer on the terrace and has gotten quite large. I kept in a cool dark place with no light for 3.5 months and recently brought it back to the house. It's now been watered and fed and is in bright but diffuse light. Keep your fingers crossed that I get some blooms in about a month.

That's my promise Kathy! I did an attempt as well but know already that I won't succeed as the tiny buds all are falling down already like snow flakes.

It sounds like you're doing everything possible to get that lovely cactus to bloom again - keeping my fingers crossed and feel certain that you will suceed as you seem to have a green thumb!!! BTW, your winter cactus is so pretty and I love the color. Very nice image Kathy!!!

A lovely shot of this delicate pink bloom Kathy. I hope it flowers for you this year. They can be a bit temperamental but it sure is getting loving care so it should oblige :)
