This is a shooting star hydrangea - a very interesting type I don't see too many places. Since I'm seeing so much white, and this morning, I was shoveling so much white with the car stuck thought I would just post a white one for today! LOL

You are absolutely right Kathy, I have never seen them. They are very pretty and the star shape says it all. The small blue flowers balance out the white nicely. Well done and thanks for your posting of this unusual flower!!!

I would rather be looking at your white foofies than shoveling the white stuff. These are so gorgeous, Kathy. You did a great job with the exposure on the shooting stars. Excellent photography.

They look lovely - so bright and shiny Kathy. Yes the colour is even whiter than fresh snow.

I've never seen this species before Kathy. You surprises me every time, lol!!! Wonderful flowers, composed in a perfect picture.

Take care in these severe wintry conditions.

They would get lost in the snow that is currently on the ground and more falling, Kathy.

Try closing your eyes when shoveling then you won't notice the white so much.
I can see from this photo's title that astronomy is not your strong suit. A lovely burst of foofies to brighten the day, Kathy. Good colours and details in the image.
