Salix caprea 'Pendula' (Weeping Pussy Willow) is the botanical name and this shot is of a mini one used in plantings by bonsai growers and florists. These little trees are about 10-12 inches tall and have trailing little blooms as you see here.

My Weeping Willow tree is a pussy too, because I can hear it whining when the cold, north wind blows Kathy.
Great shot. I didn't realize there was such a tree.

Very interesting tree Kathy!!! This is a great shot and I love the blooms - they look so delicate and I would imagine that they add a nice accent to other plantings. Great closeup work!!!

Although it may cause hay fever to me, it's wonderful to see Kathy. Shows to me that people living on the northern hemisphere, are on the good side of the calender now, lol.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
