I got so excited when I heard the weather this morning. We are going to have 40F temps by the weekend and maybe 50F by Wednesday next week. Whoopee!! So I dug onto my spring file for this shot of the primrose taken last April.

Lovely flowers Kathy and beautifully captured. The colors and clarity is wonderful. The weather forecast has predicted temps in the high 40's to mid 50's next week. However, we are in the midst of a major snow - yes - snow event!!! Excellent work BTW!!!

Very fine capture Kathy. Your post gives me a happy feeling. Don't know whether this is caused by your narrative or the wonderful colors or both. The latter is more probable. Thanks!

The low lighting really makes these blooms pop out Kathy, it's good news spring is returning to Chicago. In Bristol we've had no snow and temperatures seldom fell below 42 degrees. (o:

One polite request to the American friends, now polite and likely to lose in politeness. Temperature ? Must be in Centigrade, I am telling and asking and wasting my breath and to no avail....

I can't wait to be rid of all this snow and ice. Foofies like the ones pictured here will be a very welcome sight in the yards and parks and stuff. Another gorgeous shot, Kathy.

They're talking in the 60's a couple of days next week here. Guess who is going to golf.
I like how you composed this little cluster.

A beautifully clear shot Kathy.
Glad your weather is getting warmer. Like Marzena, I have to convert your temps to Centigrade for them to make any sense. So 50F is 10C . . .brrr that still sounds a bit chilly !

These are very beautiful Kathy - I don't seem to remember seeing flowers like this although I have heard of primroses. They are just lovely and You've captured them very nicely. The focus is perfect.
