I'm posting tonight because tomorrow my brother and I are taking my mom to lunch for her 89th birthday! She's in very good shape - she was at a corporate meeting Monday and a St. Patrick's Day party today! The whole family get-together will be at a later date. I feel so fortunate to still have her with us and she just got her driver's license renewed a few weeks ago so she gets around!

First Happy Birthday to your mom! To have her driver license still is wonderful, health, and her freedom to still be able to get around is wonderful.I love the burst of color in this wonderful bouquet. tigs=^..^=

I've read with both amazement and admiration your narrative. If one is capable at that age to renew the driver's license, I do not exclude that you'll be soon expressly invited to take a ride with her on the roller coaster, lol.

Happy 89th birthday to your Mom!!! She sounds like an amazing lady and I'll bet she views life with a positive mental attitude!! It's so nice to hear that she has renewed her driver's license and gets around nicely. The bouquet is so colorful - my personal favorite is the iris!! Very nice post and narrative!!!
