Since this is officially the first day of spring I wanted to post some spring flowers. Tulips are not up here yet but had this one tucked in the bin.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Very pretty shot of the tulips Kathy!!! They are so pleasing to the eye - we might have to wait another four weeks until they bloom. Nicely composed and lit. Great capture - glad you had this one in the bin and shared it with us!!!

I remember when tulips used to be solid colors - now they seem to be variegated in all sorts of colors. Good close up Kathy.

Bight and strong and beautiful colours on these tulips Kathy. Very nice one for the start of spring (even if it is not from this spring).

Tulips are one on my favourites!.....

I was lucky enough to travel across to see the Dutch bulb fields quite a few years back!....the lines of different colours were stunning!....as this posting is too

Great close up with excellent details

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Most appropriate of you to post this charming image and most inappropriate of the weather here in Poland to present itself in its current shape - cold & rainy like hell! LOL
Thanks for the beauty.
