A new introduction this year is this greenish yellow globe dianthus. Dianthus is the carnation family but this resembles a thistle more than a carnation. It looks great planted in and among hot pink or salmon flowers and is long lasting as a cut flower just like carnations.

A very cool flower Kathy - I can visualize that this flower would complement a nice variety of flowers in the garden - great capture and thanks for posting this one as I have not seen them!!!:-):-):-)!!

Very unusual but very beautiful shot of this strange flower Kathy. Good bokeh and a nice presentation too.

I really like the shades of green, and kink of yellowish color. The plant, and the background really compliment each other.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
