I've given myself a photographic assignment this summer to find nice shots while doing what seems like my never-ending errands. This wonderful garden spot is located next to a local sandwich shop in the middle of a suburban shopping center where my local pharmacy is. It is a meandering shopping center designed to look like the center of a small town. Lots of landscaping, curving roadways and small parking areas instead of large lots. I have driven by this spot dozens of times not paying much attention to what was behind the trees. Well behind the trees is a lovely garden area with waterfalls, a Japanese bridge over a koi pond and baby ducks.

Often one may pass something like this every day but may fail to see it from a photographer's point of view. Nice arrangement of the waterfall in steps and a good capture of it Kathy.

A fine example of - slow down, look around, Kathy. Things we may take for granted on a daily basis, may be view differently by someone else. Well spotted and photographed.

That is very refreshing looking...especially in this 90 degree heat of Maryland. Beautiful capture of the waterfall, Kathy.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You've given me an idea for shooting some of the local beauty spots like this in my own town. This is a lovely, intimate photo. Well done!
