The flowering quince are starting to bloom - mostly I see the lighter color ones so I grabbed a shot of the darker red.

Well, that's a new one to me. I had to Goggle it. Said the quince is similar to a pear. Never heard of it. Beautiful blooms however.

Really lovely! I've tried to capture these (they grow on my fence line, the pinker version) but they never come out very well...so I appreciate the beauty of this image!
