This is the "South Pacific Scarlet Canna" - a new variety. Instead of standing so tall as do most cannas, it sort of reclines amongst it's big beautiful leaves. Reclining in the heat of the day is not a bad idea!

now i know you love to visit the Botanical garden, as you stae so many times. yet theres times when viewing your pics? i cant help to think your lost in a topical jungle some where. you sure show some strange but wondeful plants all of us dont get to see every day... thats a good thing! i like the lighting agaisnt the colors on this one.
