As promised one from the hillside of prairie coneflowers which were buzzing with many bees. I'm very careful when trying to photograph bees as I am allergic, but I realize they are more interested in the pollen than me.

Sharp focus and nice colors in this shot. The bee has buried itself in there.

Common bees aren't that aggressive, Kathy. As long as they don't feel threatened themselves, you don't have a fear of being stung.
It's another story when it comes to killer bees and wasps.

Very good focus, and I like that you also have that distant cone flower in the image. I have gotten pretty darn close to them, with no problem,(but sometimes have had to get out of the way) I think your right they are more concerned about business than those of us with the black box. tigs=^..^=
