While ambling back from Evening Island toward the English garden I spotted these lovely colored coneflowers. I'm quite partial to coneflowers anyway being a native Midwesterner but I have never seen a peachy color like these before. I was delighted to see they were named after one of my favorite chefs and cookbook authors.

Very aptly named for Julia Child Kathy - these coneflowers are gorgeous and classy just like Julia - also like the composition - three on the diagonal - very special color - have not seen these in Jersey - Great Capture!!!!!!!

Echoing some of the words above.. nice on the composition. The diagonal placement, as well as, the number of flowers in focus and within frame are strong elements.

Natural colour, and the colour of these flowers would indeed be a challenge. Kudos to you and your camera.. well done.

Good good focus and clarity.. DOF is dialed in as well, with the blurred background giving your subjects the prominence within frame they deserve.

Very nice photo, Kathy.

And but, of course.. thanks for sharing this look through the lens with us.
