This shot was taken this morning of a tiny skipper butterfly on a bract of butterfly bush. The skippers are really around a lot this year and they are so tiny (about 3/4'') and so fast.
Kathy, because I know the size of the buddleia, I can determine that the skipper is a tiny butterfly indeed. In spite of its size, you've provided us with a sharp/detailed image. Well done again!

They are cute little butterflies but so flighty! (which is, of course where they got their name, I think! lol) The colors are bright and bold. Great capture!
