Couldn't resist this one with it's name for an October Fx2 post! They named it that because it is a late blooming dahlia and obviously the color.

Because of its color, it's an appropriate name for it, Kathy. Although it's a wonderful and not 'frightening' one (☺),they could have given it the name 'Halloween Dahlia' as well.
