It's such a dreary, rainy day here today and I hate cold rain. I decided to post a shot from the heart of summer - taken July 17, 2015. Sunny and too warm but at least it wasn't grey!

Good photo to remind us of the warmer days of summer. It's funny, the first year I was in FLorida, I was depressed because it was too sunny, being from up north, I was used to the dreary you speak of.

Such a bight and sunny colour in this magnificent rose - we had a wonderful bright day here but cold and this post really warms up the screen

A dandelion would be positively delightful at this time of year. This beautiful rose would lift the drab from the dreariest of days. A good capture of this lovely bloom, Kathy.
