From the orchid show - a display of how orchids grow in the wild. This picture includes Phaleanopsis in the middle and tiny Dendrobium to the right. The lighting was also set up to resemble conditions in a tropical jungle.
It's like I'm in a tropical bush/forest/jungle without sweating because of the high temperature and high relative humidity, Kathy, ☺ . Splendid image of these orchids in their natural environment. The colors are amazing too. Perfect one, my friend!

I have seen them growing from trees Kathy. My wife uses wood chips instead of soil for them and soaks the chips under the tap fully every 10 days or so. The results you have seen from my photos. Lovely shot here with those beautiful orchids.
They look so pretty and natural in that environment - a lovely capture Kathy. Years ago I visited the Orchid Gardens in Singapore and this photo reminds me of it.. I can remember how beautiful it was there but it was before I contracted the photography bug and so I have no photos :(
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
