This is from four mini-azalea I now have in my front window. They are small - in 4" pots. But they add a wonderful spark of color while I watch the snow fly today. We are having our first measurable snowfall since December - about 4" so far. But the worst comes tonight when the Lake Effect snow starts - a phenomenon amongst the states bordering the Great Lakes. The winds turn NE and come across Lake Michigan picking up moisture and depositing it as snow in the counties next to the lake. We could have as much as 2" per hour they say. We'll see as lake effect snow is notoriously erratic as to where it falls.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

What a beautiful little plant - it looks as though it has been sprinkled with pink fairy dust. What a delight to see this with snow falling behind it.
Beautifully taken and presented Kathy.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

What a difference in climate, Kathy. Although I live more north when compared to the Chicago area (about 51 degrees north latitude versus about 41 degrees north latitude), yesterday afternoon I was enjoying the sun while sitting in my garden.
Hope however that your wonderful and warm toned azalea image compensate the, for this time of the year, for you pretty severe weather conditions.

Thanks for another wonderful one, my friend!
