These are the first of my columbine shots this year. I love photographing columbine as they are so graceful and resemble birds in flight. The lavender ones here are not as commonly seen around me.
With this wonderful Columbine image, you're ahead of the season, Kathy. I've checked the Columbine plants in my garden, but think they somewhat lazy now, because I even didn't see their buds. Think I'll have some patience. Till then, I'll enjoy your ones. Thanks in advance, my friend.

Beautifully captured Kathy!! We call them Granny's Bonnets here and that colour combination is the most common. These ones seem to be standing up niceley - sometimes their heads droop.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
