Living in The Netherlands aka Holland I saw already countless tulip species, but I've never seen this one before, Kathy, so I'm speechless both by amazement and its beauty.
Confirms to me again that you've a 'special nose' for discovering such rare and beautiful 'floral queens'.
So a very special Foofy Friday image, my friend.

A very interesting post Kathy as most of us have never seen this unusual double tulip until now - nicely photographed as white can be a tricky color to get just right and you did - Great Capture!!!!!!

Such a sumptuous flower ! I have seen double tulips but never one like this. You did it justice with a fine capture Kathy.
Breathtaking !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
