Yesterday I went to an old garden center near the city. It's been there since 1927 and my great-uncle used to take me there as a little girl when he bought new rose bushes for his garden. I go there now because they grow all their own stock and do not rush and force feed the plants a bloom booster which in the long run does not produce a healthy plant. I was surprised to see the peonies already blooming - only the oriental type however - the old fashioned type are still a week or two away from bloom. This is from old bushes that encircle the property.

The image has a beautiful water-color effect with such wonderful lighting. I'm glad some people still take pride in what they do.

Think that the peonies in my garden will bloom within a week, Kathy.
I hope that they are that wonderful as the one depicted by you. If so, I'll be satisfied, If not, I have to accept this, but have still your very fine image as alternative to enjoy them. Thanks, my friend!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
