Spotted this scene recently and grabbed my compact Nikon I keep in the car. Something a bit different from me.

It is different coming from you, and its a lovely capture I really like that the swan is alone and the look of the water flow turned out great. This must be a huge fountain, or? Nicely done Kathy. tigs=^..^=

This is really nice...and different! The composition is very good with the diagonal lines, and I like the lone swan.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

That double series of cascades in this rounded fountain makes for a very soothing atmosphere--I can almost hear the water slapping the pond--and the single, distant swan is the crowning element, much like the sunlight shine spot on an eye that defines it as a moist, round, orb. That spot and the swan are both absolutely necessary. You won't mind, will you, if I make a copy but crop the bottom to remove the bush and make the entire ratio fit my screen parameters? Thank you.

I was curious about what flower would look like a swan! A peaceful looking scene with the small waterfalls and the lonely swan.

Favorite. Details, details, details are outstanding, composition perfect, could not be better, and your eye is very good at catching a scene like this. Bravo!

It's a little hard to tell in the image, but it appears to be a male swan. I wonder what happened to his mate? :(

Perfect clarity, from near to far, across the photograph. And gorgeous water falls/fountain to boot.

Very nice shot!

Well I just love this - love all the way the water can spill down into the lake and a bonus with the swan
