Sorry to have been absent so long but I've been dealing with a healthcare crisis with my 91 year old mom. She is currently recuperating in a rehab facility with a new pacemaker for her heart. Finally had a chance to buy some mums today for my terrace and this is one of them. In cooler climates like mine it tends towards coral rather than orange but lovely none the less. Hope to be able to be on more but time will tell about that.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

I'm glad that you're (temporary) back, Kathy. Hope that the medical situation of your old mother will improve in such a way that you're able to visit Caedes more frequently. Taking care for your mother has a higher priority however. A matter of 'first things first', my friend.

Giving the circumstances, I appreciate the by you done effort to provide us with this very fine colored Mum capture. Thanks for that!

Best wishes for your Mum's recovery Kathy. We have missed you but understand and your priorities have been quite rightly elsewhere.
This is a lovely blaze of colour that will set the monitors alight with beauty

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Brilliant and beautiful colors and a very good focus overall Kathy. Hope your mum will be okay with the new pacemaker.

Apart from the gorgeous colour, and handling the technical side of things well (focus, exposure, et al).. what drew my eyes in were the almost concentric circles of blooms.

Or, put another way.. well done on composing your shot.. in and amongst the chaos of the setting and coming away with a winner.

+favs for me.

And..

But, of course.. thank you for sharing this one with us.
