You can see the new lemon forming at the end of the blossom. They always put me in mind of the song "Lemon Tree" written by Will Holt and recorded by oh so many singers in the 60's and 70's. "Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat."

That is a very pretty lemon flower. I know they are difficult to capture well and you have nailed it ! Only thing missing it the delightful scent :)

My wife has an old album with this song on, but by a trio called Peter, Paul and Mary....And wonderful 'Spring-like' image, and thank you for this memory too.
