I must correct my title from yesterday - it should have been Day 8 as that is how many consecutive days we've had measurable snow. My previous shots were from out front of the condo where I live - this shot was this morning from my terrace. The rounded trees are the buckthorns where the small birds roost in the winter. Beyond the building and treeline is the frozen lake. It is still snowing and we've had another 4-5" this morning. If this looks cold that is because it is 17F. Tonight it will be below zero but they've promised sunshine all day tomorrow so Yeah!!

We've had snow the past few days too Kathy, but not in the amounts you have received. That's fine with me. Hope the limbs don't start breaking off.
Good winter shot.

We're currently getting a lot of rain in our area - we can thank our neighbors to the south as warm temps and pushing the thermoter to 60 degrees today - had it been colder, we would have had snow and 3 inches of rain would equal 3 plus feet of snow -ugh!!!!!!!! Nice shot Kathy!!!!!!!!!!!

Just talked with my sister who live north of Detroit and they got a bunch of snowfall, but hopefully that is the last big dump of the white stuff for the season. Our winter was very short unfortunately.

Kathy, what a contradiction!

Sitting behind my laptop in the living room, while watching this fine, and well composed, wint'ry scene, I can see through my window pane that the daffodils in my garden will bloom in one or two days. Each scene has its own charm, and it depends to someone's personal taste which one prefers.

An all too familiar scene for me, Kathy...somehow the snow looks nicer in an image than in person...I like the sketchiness of this.
