After our 9 days in a row with snow we all breathed a sigh of relief. Some melting occurred and we saw the sun and even had a warm day in the 40's But this is the view within the last hour from my terrace - heavy snow - so heavy it obliterated the high school building in the distance. Please excuse me while I utter a string of unprintable words . . .!!!

I used to live up north and didn't get my hopes up for spring until the start of May. Hopefully there are not too many more of these incidents.

If its any consolation Kathy, we're getting snow at this very minute 8:15 pm - however, a very strange event - snow - sleet - rain - depending on the temp - throughout the night - Sunday temps 49 degrees which will melt whatever accumulation we get - temps this coming Tuesday 70 degrees - go figure!!!:-):-):-)

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Very understandable, Kathy. If I would say that this is a perfect 'Winter Wonderland' capture (viewing it behind my screen in a warm room) think I would 'tease' you.
Have some patience, as spring is near and inevitable to come.
Wish you perseverance (☺), my friend.

Your misfortune has turned into our gain as we see this lovely scene.
We are waiting for Cyclone Gita to strike about Tuesday - hatches all battened down ! :(

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The angle of this capture is perfect. I love the sensation one feels when viewing this. I am in awe of nature's continuous bounty of beauty, with all kinds of weather. This is an excellent photo. Favorite.
