I saw these last Friday. I believe they were forced and then planted but they were quite beautiful and just seemed to glow. They were in a protected area but we had an inch of snow last night and more predicted tomorrow afternoon and night so I wonder how they are doing.

Wow, you really captured their glow. Awesome shot!

Still getting snow here too (Just west of you, in Iowa). And chances of more snow remain in the forecast.

There's nothing worse than a grumbling, rebellious Winter that is reluctant to resign its season, huh?

Some sunny, vibrant tulips are just what we needed; providing us with hope for the promise of Spring. Thank you!

They really seem to glow. When the sunlight strikes from the side tulips of this color always seem to glow. Nice one Kathy.

----but they were quite beautiful----

That's an understatement, Kathy, because they're really wonderful.
Perfect lighting and composition were helpful to make this macro to a fave of mine.
Thanks!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

They sure have a beautiful glow Kathy. I bet they look good now if they are not completely covered by snow.
