This is a Martha Washington geranium at least in the USA it is called that. They are cool weather geraniums - they do not like consistent temperatures above 60F.degrees so they do well in the spring and fall but hardly bloom in the heat of summer.

Think that Martha Washington geraniums are wise, Kathy, ☺ , because they have siesta-time in the hottest time of the year.

Your picture shows them at their top of their beauty now.

Beautiful blooms, but like you say, they do not do well in the heat of the Summer. For me they did really well up until the end of June. This is a gorgeous shot of them though.
