Photojournalism tells a story - well the story here is the contrast between the little lake and trees in the foreground and the massive structure being constructed right up to the edge of the lake. The waterfowl and fish in this lake aren't likely to appreciate the noise and traffic from this new middle school. Nor are the residents of the condos overlooking this lake of which I am one. We used to see a rolling green field with the occasional soccer match now it's cranes and steel girders. A possible for the contest.

Nice shot with that blue sky and the trees. Can only hope that the school building will not look too much out of place here.

Apparently inevitable 'progress' (please notice the quotation marks) indeed, perfectly visualized by you, Kathy.
Meets perfectly the current Photo Journalism contest.
If you decide that this will be your entry for this contest, wish you Good Luck with it!

I do think this makes a super contest entry. I would not appreciate the fact that there will be noise pollution, and the loss of the open space. tigs=^..^=

A very suitable entry for the contest. A story is told.
I hope once completed the building will look more part of the scene.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Makes a fabulous entry and good luck. The work in progress doesn't seem to bother the geese
