These geraniums are popular in hanging baskets as the leaves which are more ivy shaped trail down. The flower heads are also different in that they are more open and less compact than regular geraniums. I grew these in hanging baskets for about 20 years when I faced east and they flourished. Now that I face north I must only choose shade plants.
