This is actually from the figwort family but has the name fuchsia as it bears a resemblance to the fuchsia we know although they are not closely related. This was taken at the Chicago Botanic Garden

Yes the slight resemblance to fuchsia is there. Rare find and capture Kathy.

This wonderful Cherry Ripe Cape Fuchsia has to me some resemblance with one of the species of a Phygelius (in particular the Phygelius capensis species), Kathy.
