This is a tropical evergreen originally from Mexico and far southern Florida. It's really interesting to see it and then you know how it came by its name. I've seen it before in tropical greenhouses but this was outdoors with a whole planting of them.

I think this is very interesting, kind of a strange plant I will say. You did good of catching the color, and details, and I like the greenery around it, helps to set it off even more. tigs=^..^=

I don't know whether these 'shrimps' are edible. I hope not however, because they are too beautiful to be disappeared in a stomach, ☺ .
