These are big ones - they grow 2.5-3' tall and the flowers themselves are about 5" in diameter. This variety was an All American Award winner and has won other awards as well. They are drought tolerant and road-salt resistant so they are used by the roadway quite a bit especially in front of tall grasses.

Kathy, because most fields in my country are below sea level, they have to deal with brackish seepage water coming from the sea. If the flower growers (and there are many in my country) know that these rudbeckia's are resistant to salt, I don't exclude that in the future the fields are full of these blooms. It would be a beautiful sight. I hope now however, that the Dutch flower growers take note of their professional literature.
