A 1999 film directed by Scott Hicks starring Ethan Hawke and a stellar cast of reliable character actors including Max Von Sydow. The story revolves around a murder and trial in post WWII Washington state taking place in 1950. There is still strong anti Japanese sentiment and prejudice and that plays into the murder and trial. This is a shot of the cedars near my garage as snow falls - seems appropriate for our big snowstorm today. For the SNATM themes challenge.

I only just viewed this entry. Simply perfect, in every way. The soft edges of the scene with the abundant beauty of the snow on the cedars is breathtaking. Excellent. Bravo.
