The winds from the south bring the smoke from the volcanic eruption to Oahu and the other islands. It's very "voggy" (not foggy) and humid, but gives us a colorful sunset.

I learn something all the time. I had never heard of Vog before. We don't have many volcanoes in Northern Missouri. Just ill tempered people that erupt. Sorry. This really adds a different colored tint to the sunlight. Makes for a good photo. I like it Kalyn. Have a good evening.

I like the hazy peachy colour that the vog creates in the air and the water. Where I live we just get tons of fog, lol.

I almost want to say it looks milky. The colors the vog creates are really pretty though, the silvers and peaches.

There are no volcanos here in Sweden, so this is an interesting sight to me. Very lovely colours and very nice relection.
