Mythmaker was kind enough to to take my original post, and with a lot of hard work, made it more "desktop" friendly. He expanded, and blended the edges of the original to make it wider, and in my opinion, matched them perfectly!! I am amazed at the subtle shading he was able to accomplish. Thank you Mikel....You do great work, and thanks to you, this is now on MY desktop.

Damn! The soft light, the lonely trees, and the way the shadows blend with the fog into infinity makes this a fabulous shot. Thanks for uploading it. I see I will have to work extra hard to keep up with the competition now. :-)

I was about to throw in the towel for the evening with reviewing photos when I came across this diamond in the rough. Absolutely awesome photo. I love the simplicity, the monotone color scheme, and the lack of 'framing' scenery, allowing the viewer to feel as if they're floating in the midst of the scene.

Hey John, the original is just so damn FINE I had to get it wide enough for my wide screen so I could enjoy it to the max. Thanks for posting this again mate, I learned a lot about cloning and alternatives to cloning while working on your masterpiece and it's nice to see it being shared with others. Mikel.

This is a gorgeous pic. I love the mysterious feel of it, and an adventurous feel as well. Almost as if there's something to discover just on the other side of the fog.
