Today at Thunder Over Michigan, we got to see generations of aircraft flying together in formation. This is a P-51 Mustang, P-38 Lightning, and an F-16 Falcon. What a sight they were!

For a plane lover like myself, i must say i do love this one, it must have been a rare occasion, i am sure.
There are still a lot of flying P 51's around, but as not as far as the P 38 goes.
Quiet rare to see one airborne, thanks for sharing this image with us here at caedes.

I don't know much about planes, but I do know that this is a very nice capture, clear and dramatic :)PJ

Hi Keith:

Great shot. I always loved the P51 (Mustang) and P38 (Lockheed} and built many models of them as a youngster. Thanks for sharing. Take Care.
