I really really like this..there's such a sense of ominous foreboding about this..almost like you're waiting for some army to come across the plains in the background...

I like the composition of your photo alot. I can easily imagine being a medieval soldier taking a look before stepping out on to the walk way to take up my post in the watch tower. The depth of field is great. The framing, perspective and background all make this a pleasantly excellent photo. Well done.

Very cool, but I think the effect might take away from it a little bit. Looks like you added a canvas texture or something?? I'd like to see it without, because I love the picture. Nice job!
