Elisabeth Bridge (Budapest, Hungary) connecting Buda and Pest across the River Danube. Almost a complete rebuild of the original built between 1897 and 1903 which was too badly damaged by the WW2 in 1945. It is named after Queen Elisabeth, a popular queen and empress of Austria-Hungary, who was tragically assassinated in 1898.

This photo is very well composed and the balance of nature and the city is brought out very nicely. I personally love history, so I certainly enjoyed reading the comments you added :)PJ

I am so happy to see this! It is such a large 'slice' of Budapest and the Danube and I might never have had the opportunity to have seen this were it not for this tremendous shot. I can see for miles! Thank you.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

This is an excellent photograph and I love the clarity and the details that you can see from the place you have taken it from. I like the mountains in the background. I like the water and the view of the city. Excellent work

Wow, what a beautiful shot. Where was it taken from? High up in a building?

At first blush this had me thinking I was looking at Pittsburgh without the buildings; similar topography.
Great shot with much detail.

Very Nice. I love your shots of Hungary, especially Budapest - it is my birthplace, you know.
