What a beauty Imre. The lighting on him is magnificant and the clarity and colors awesome. His wings look like puffs of clouds. Goodness this is a perfect shot. Thanks for sharing it today.

This one looks like if you could shrink yourself down to a tiny size you could settle on his snowy white back and kick back as he took you around the pond. He looks just like the swan boats I've seen in different amusement parks. This is a magnificent picture. The water is highlighted and rippled in just the right way, the sunlight is making reflections of the swan in the water and is lending a sheen to the wet rock to the left of the post. The little splash of water just in front of the swan adds to the feeling of movement here, and he's definitely posing so handsomely for you. The clarity is so good you can see his eye, discern all the shadows from the one on his neck to the one that extends down along the left wing that points up the pure, dazzling white of the rest of his body, to the amazingly clear shot of his red/orange beak. I especially like the way the water seems to be moving with not only individual shadow, but shadows of whole areas of the water. This is truly a beautiful post, and I am very happy you shared it with us for all of the above reasons and many more that I'm sure I've failed to see that others will be able to point out. :)PJ
This one is so beautiful. I'm glad you filled the shot with her. She is lovely to look at and the crispness and clarity of the shot is tremendous. A keeper for sure.
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.
-Josemaria Escriva
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry D. Thoreau
Yes, a swan sets out his wings a little, to make itselve bigger, if you come to closeby. just look at how the light falls between the wings, good shot for sure.
Thanks for posting it.
Pretty! The feathers almost look like soft fluffy white clouds or hills of fresh snow! Very beautiful! The colors...the water...it's a perfect 10 indeed!
How lovely it is when unexpected blessings come into my life to cheer me up and put a smile into my heart. Help me to pass them on, dear Lord. Fay Angus
