The composition, lighting and colors are flawless and quite appealing it seems. It has a lot of artefacts just like many of your other shots though. Be sure to use the highest quality settings on the camera and do not enlarge the size above what you have to begin with.
Just when you think you’ve seen the ultimate sunset, along comes a better one. I have to agree with the others about the graininess, but the composition, colours and flare make for dramatic beauty.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
This is a beautiful photo. It looks like you scanned the image from hardcopy. I can tell because of the dust specks on the photo. If you have a program like Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Paint Shop Pro, you can easily remove these. (In Photoshop it's a "Dust and Scratches" filter). Hope this helps.
Hi Verena. Lovely image you have here. You know on this side of the continent we have an eastern exposure, so getting these sunset shots isn't very easy. I have to content myself with sunrise images, and few of those can be shot over beaches here - another thing we lack. I guess that's why you see so much marsh grass in my stuff. Good work.
have you tried photoshop to take out those specles? I bet they would make the photo look better, not that it looks bad. Because is a great capture, I noticed on exploding sunset you had some more of this "imperfections" I bet photoshop would make them disapear! another great sunset, I feel that Im looking at a master piece here.
